ABOUT KATHY
Kathy is a retired nurse and has been designing and making jewelry since 2008. Since childhood, Kathy has had a fascination for jewelry and, once retired, became frustrated when unable to find exactly the right piece to match a particular outfit.
A neighbour suggested she take some courses and make her own jewelry. Several years and a few courses later, Kathy has now started a small business with her artist husband, Doug.
Kathy designs and produces one-of-a-kind, handcrafted jewelry using semi-precious stones, crystals and glass beads, also incorporating crystal clay.
Kathy has exhibited at several craft shows, a local beauty salon, holds an annual Open House and has undertaken many commissions.
Kathy resides in Newmarket, Ontario and is married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
